My mother was having an excruciating tooth pain and had International medical insurance which didn't cover dental treatment. I thank a higher power for leading me to Dr. Nima Aleagha's dentistry. "Honest Dentistry" is not just a description of his office, it is the truth and it is an outright blessing and sigh of relief. I can't tell you what a horrible experience I've had in Los Angeles trying to find an honest, trustworthy, high integrity and highly skilled dentist that didn't spend the visit attempting to upsell me on treatments that weren't necessary, or refuse to give me a cleaning or service because they wanted to bill the insurance company for more money for treatments that weren't approved. In the end, the patient suffers. Dr. Aleagha would NEVER do that. He is the most caring and compassionate professional that carries the highest level of skill, and has proven (to me) to truly have the patient's well-being and best interest in mind. I drive the distance to see Dr. Aleagha because he is that valuable and that rare of a find. For me, IF you have choice, choosing Dr. Aleagha is the right one.

I’m giving 5 stars but haven’t gotten any work done yet. So let’s see how Dr. Nima handles my absolute fear of dentists & my anxiety about having work done. I’ve had so many really bad experiences with dentists starting at a very young age. Dr. Nima made me feel comfortable during the consultation. I waited 4 years to find the right dentist to replace a front tooth I originally broke when I was 12, broke again at 24 and most recently at 34. Dr. Nima and his staff are very talented and I am happy with every procedure I’ve had done so far. A couple crowns, a couple root canals and I’m in the process of replacing my missing tooth with 4 new teeth. My dental work has always been complicated but Dr. Nima works with precision and a steady hand. I travel from Hollywood to Thousand Oaks because it is hard to find a great dentist. Dr. Nima was on my HMO and the reviews looked wonderful so I took a chance and I’m so glad that I am under his care. He is a warm and friendly dentist who really cares about the patients and spends time and even does his own cleaning. The women in the office are also very friendly and help you relax. We are fairly new patients to Dr. Nima, but so far we've had a great experience. He's no-nonsense, but also compassionate. He made my six year old son feel comfortable, and then also made me feel comfortable when I had to have some extra work done. I had a lot of anxiety, but he's so warm and friendly, and acknowledged how I was feeling, and let me know how to ask for help if I was uncomfortable. The procedure itself was practically painless in the end, and even though I'll still have anxiety next time, I know I'm in good hands and I will be calmer now that I know how he is. They also made me a new night guard, which is so much better than the old one I had.
My cleaning was great. The result was better than I can get from brushing. I believe the cleaning helps gums also.

They’re professional, friendly, honest and take my insurance:) I hadn’t been to a dentist in two years because I had lost faith in the honesty of dentists after discovering my last dentist was completely unethical and a money grubbing liar by telling me that a tooth was dead, I needed a root canal & had to pay $1200.00 for a crown that wasn’t covered by insurance…….. it felt so shady to me that I paid out of pocket to see a specialist and found out that my tooth wasn’t dead, I didn’t need a root canal & therefore I didn’t need a crown! My previous, so called dentist was going to kill my completely healthy tooth via root canal so that he could sell me a $1200.00 crown!!! I’m beyond relieved to have found Dr. Nima!

Dr. Nima is professional, personable, and is upfront with your exam, I trust him as someone who is specific and picky with who let’s touch their cavities. I LOVE going to the dentist now, especially with Dr. Nima’s sense of humor. I used to be scared going to receive treatment, not anymore (: Even better, Dr. Nima accepts most insurances, so please contact him already. The receptionist and hygienist are super sweet and pleasant catering to your needs. His office is sparkling clean and easily found in the back left of the plaza with ample parking.
